Our mission is to provide a communications link between alumni, students, and parents, as well as the New River Valley and Virginia Tech communities. The New River Valley Chapter promotes and supports the university's interest in education, research, public service, and legislative advocacy.

The majority of our activities revolve around raising money for our scholarship fund. This fund allows us to grant scholarships to students from high schools in the New River Valley that are attending Virginia Tech. We are looking forward to raising even more money this year. In addition, we have fun! There are monthly meetings and other social events throughout the year.

Alumni Wine Festival - We will be hosting our 5th annual Virginia Tech Alumni Wine Festival on June 1, 2013 from Noon-6pm. Check out the Wine Festival page for more information. "Behind the Scenes" Lumenhaus Reception & Tour - We will have a behind the scenes tour of Lumenhaus on April 23rd at 5:30pm. We will host reception beforehand with Stanburn Winery wine, assorted beer, and heavy hors d’oeuvres from The Cellar. We will post more information soon.
